ChatGPT Plus in the Philippines — the peso price, the 12% VAT inside it, and when buying an account makes sense
ChatGPT Plus · Philippines · 9 listings live now · Prices in USD
The Philippines is one of the few markets where paying OpenAI is genuinely easy: GCash works for Go, Plus and Pro, and prices are listed in pesos. So this page does not claim your payment fails — it explains what the peso list actually costs once the 12% VAT on digital services is inside it, what that means if you are buying on a company account, and the specific cases where a cheaper shared account from us is the sensible buy instead. If you want a seat in your own name and GCash is available to you, paying OpenAI directly is the honest recommendation and this page says so.

What ChatGPT costs in the Philippines in 2026
The Philippine storefront lists ChatGPT Go at ₱300 a month, ChatGPT Plus from ₱999 a month and Pro from ₱6,490 in tiers, with higher-capacity Pro tiers far above that. Those are the peso figures we could verify in October 2026, and they already include the VAT rather than adding it at checkout — which matters, see below.
Against the US list price of $19.99 for Plus, ₱999 is a genuinely local number rather than a straight conversion, and Go at ₱300 is one of the cheapest Go prices in the world. That is worth knowing before you assume a foreign reseller is automatically cheaper: on Go, official pricing in the Philippines is already very low.
What Bite Store sells is a different product — access to Plus-tier accounts, shared or private, priced in USD and delivered as credentials. For a Go subscription at ₱300 there is no cheaper equivalent here, and we would rather tell you that than sell you something worse.
The 12% VAT is inside the peso price — and it changes one thing
Since June 2025, Republic Act No. 12023 puts 12% VAT on digital services consumed in the Philippines, including subscriptions from foreign providers. A ₱549 streaming plan becoming ₱614.88 is the same arithmetic applied to a ChatGPT seat. The peso price you see on the storefront is the price with VAT in it, so do not add 12% again when you compare.
The part most guides skip: if you are buying on a registered business account, that VAT is normally creditable input tax — but only if the seller is a VAT-registered digital service provider issuing a proper VAT invoice. Bite Store is not a Philippine VAT-registered seller; our invoices are issued in USD and carry no Philippine VAT. For a business buyer that means no input VAT to credit, and depending on how your accountant treats a foreign purchase, a reverse-charge entry may apply. Check that with your accountant before expensing an order from us — it is the single most common way this purchase goes wrong for a company.
When a shared account is the better buy here
A shared Plus listing costs a fraction of ₱999 a month because the account is used by several people — that is the trade-off, stated plainly, not a hidden one. It suits a student or a freelancer who wants Plus-tier answers and does not need the account to be theirs alone.
A private listing costs close to the official peso price. If you are paying with GCash and want the account in your own name, there is little reason to route around OpenAI — buy it there. Ours makes sense when you want to pay once, prepaid, with no recurring charge on a card or GCash wallet, or when the official price is the blocker rather than the payment method.
One practical advantage worth naming: a prepaid order cannot renew itself. If your GCash balance, card or budget is unpredictable month to month, a fixed-length listing from us ends when you decided it would.

Questions from Philippines
Can I pay with GCash or Maya on Bite Store?
No. We accept USDT (TRC20, BEP20, Solana, TON), Binance Pay and the Bite Store wallet. Filipino buyers normally fund USDT from GCash through a local exchange, then pay from there. GCash works with OpenAI directly, so if you want the official subscription in your own name, that is the simpler path.
Is ₱999 the price with VAT already included?
Yes — the peso storefront price is what you pay, with the 12% digital services VAT inside it under RA 12023. Do not add 12% on top when comparing prices; that mistake makes the official seat look 12% more expensive than it is.
Can I claim this as a business expense with input VAT?
Not the VAT. We are not a Philippine VAT-registered seller and our invoices are issued in USD with no Philippine VAT, so there is no input tax to credit. Ask your accountant whether a reverse-charge entry applies to your purchase before you expense it.
Do I need a VPN to use the account in the Philippines?
We do not ask you to use one. Delivery is by credentials, not by region tricks, and where a listing needs a specific country or a phone verification step that is written on the listing itself.
Kitni dair me delivery hoti hai, aur pehle kya badalna chahiye?
Automated listings appear on the order page in 2–10 minutes once payment confirms; manual activation is usually within a few hours and never more than 24. Change the password where the listing allows it, keep the recovery details we give you, and do not re-bind anything the listing says not to touch.
What happens if the account stops working?
Warranty is stated per listing — full, 24H or none — and it is the most important line on the page. Within that window a non-working account is replaced or refunded under our refund policy. Outside it, nothing can be claimed, so read it before ordering.
