Why you need more seats than students

A 40-student class running on a 50-seat plan is comfortable; the same class on a plan capped at exactly 40 would fail in the first five minutes.

That is the practical rule: buy the next size up from your biggest expected session, not the exact number.

One month is the right length for most schools

All four rows are one-month plans. For a term that runs longer than four weeks, that means buying twice — which is still usually cheaper than an annual plan, and it lets you skip a month you do not use (holidays, exam weeks).
